thinking ahead to Spring

Yesterday I bought dozens of white tulips to plant right at the edge of the street. Now they're in the refrigerator to chill for a couple of months.

Pretty! Tulips are just so simple and elegant and mean that nice weather is near.

Here's an idea...

We all know times are tough and everybody's looking for ways to spend less and earn more. So, we thought of our house and set to wondering.... can we put it to work for us ? Then I ran into a friend who said she and her husband were taking some short trips since they rent out their house on VRBO (Vacation Rentals By Owner) and need to vacate now and then. Aha! I thought, here's an idea...

We're lucky to live in a nice Marin County location, about 20 minutes from SF. But before we think of promoting this possible cash cow, we have to spruce up. That's the subject of this blog (there may be some detours along the way too of things that catch my eye).
